the overall: Jessica is passionate about the things she loves. Like running, and art; she hates losing, and has a real desire to win. She also is passionate about painting. She loves painting and drawing. She even loves photography, and music. Though she can not play a single instrument, she doesn’t take pride in her paintings, and never believes them to be above average. Still she paints, mainly for fun. Jess also loves animals, she loves all animals; except bugs. She is very caring, and is a good listener when people need advice or just want to talk. She tries to help any way she can.
One thing life has taught Jess is to always try to be real with people. She isn’t much of a double cross, backstabbing person. But she has done it before, so it’s nothing she isn’t capable of. She doesn’t like games, because she knows all to well what its like to be played. So naturally she tries to avoid the ones who have a reputation at playing games. Jessica is also a very thoughtful person when she is alone. She just thinks about life, things that have happened and things that could happen. She may try to control too much sometimes because of all her thoughtfulness. Jess also is a sarcastic and has a good sense of humor. She also keeps a positive outlook on life and always tries to see the good before the bad.
Jessica has quite the temper though. If you learn what makes her tick it’s not hard to make her mad. She is hard to calm down, and quickly goes into a rage. Sometimes she loses herself and forgets what she is doing, or she is fully aware. She never outright hurts anyone; she honestly isn’t that strong, but she can be aggressive with her actions. Jess is very impatient and hates waiting on anything. When she has to wait she will usually get very irritated or whiney. She isn’t good with sitting around waiting either, she will pace sometimes. Another thing about Jessica is that she holds grudges. It’s hard for her to forget if you have done her wrong. If it’s someone she loves that’s done something small, she can forgive. But if you have done her wrong in a major way, she will always hold it against you.
Jess loves easily, and is easily hurt. When she gets hurt she tries to hide it, she ignores it until it bursts out of her in a fit of anger ended with tears. It’s just how she is wired. Its something she can’t change. Jessica also is an impulsive liar when asked about something. Instead of trying to explain she just lies. This gets her in trouble a lot of the time, usually the truth comes out later. She is also gullible enough to believe some lies that are told to her. Jess isn’t fond of not getting her way, and can throw embarrassing fits to get it. Despite her thoughtfulness, Jessica acts without thinking at times, and can be very argumentative. She sometimes goes too far with her words, and hurts people. It’s not her favorite thing to do, and she apologizes when needed.
mother: cassie brown, 41, nurse
father: jason brown, 43, medical doctor
siblings: sarah reynolds, female, 21
pets: Al, pug dog
the overall history: Jess grew up in Houston, Texas. Her biological father left when she was only four years old. His name was David Lee Reynolds. She still chooses to keep his last name despite her practically real dad Jason Brown and of course her mother Cassie Brown. Jessica also has an older sister named Sarah Ann Reynolds, who is four years older. She had a normal child hood, sisterly fighting and stuff like that. Jason was always a great father figure, and she is very thankful for him. Her mom has an erratic personality; she is always running around everywhere, and has frequent mood swings. Nonetheless she was still a great mom, and she took care of her well. Her parents have always been a happy couple. Then Sarah grew up, and things changed.
Sarah took her parents divorce a lot harder, since she was eight, and knew what was going on. She grew up into a rebellious teen; she seemed to hate everyone and everything, including Jess. Jess became a freshman at Lamar High School whenever Sarah was a senior. Lamar was a smaller school, consisting of about 1000 9-12 graders. Jessica battled anorexia that year, the summer before she started school. It seemed like everyone was doing it. Her mom got her help and she began maintaining a healthy weight. Soon enough she got a boyfriend, and a good size group of friends.
Then one night she was at a party that Sarah had invited her too; which was odd since Sarah didn’t really like her. It was practically full with all upperclassmen. Before she knew it she lost Greg- who had been her boyfriend for a few months. He was a senior and seemed to show interest in her. She drank a few beers and danced with some friends of hers before she finally decided she needed to go to the bathroom. Jessica set her cup down and made her way through the mass of bodies to the hallway. Since she was unfamiliar with the house she tried the second door on the right, and what she saw was definitely not a bathroom. She had opened a bedroom door, and watched in disgust as Sarah and Greg were making out half naked on the bed. Jessica couldn’t believe it, Sarah had done this to hurt her and embarrass her.
A week later Greg called to talk to her, Jess, being naïve agreed to meet him at his house to talk. He was the only real boyfriend she had ever had anyways. She walked to his house and seen that his parents were not home. To cut the story short, he tried to apologize and say he wanted things the way they used to be. When Jessica tried to leave he grabbed her arm and pulled her back to him. He then began to try to make out with her. She repeatedly told him no and struggled, but it was no use. Anyone can tell what happened that afternoon. She never told anyone, and decided she would just try to move on and put it past her.
After the party Jessica never spoke to Sarah again, that was the last straw. Sarah graduated and moved away to do whatever she wanted to do with her life. Then Jason and Cassie told her they were moving to the quaint little town of Mistridge, Florida. She was honestly glad, she hated Houston. She was especially happy when they told her it was located close to the beach. Her family became well acquainted with the small town and its other families, and Jessica seemed to fit in after getting to know everyone. But it’s obvious her business is everyone else’s, and this town has secrets that even she might not want to know. Scandal after scandal keeps happening. After being around for two years she is really enjoying the small town. Like everyone else though, she has her own secrets, ones that she is trying very hard to keep buried, deep in her old life in Houston.

rp sample:Sloane was about 2 miles away from her house by now she knew, but she still didn’t want to stop, she just wanted to walk forever, and maybe escape reality. She stopped and looked up at the now night sky, the full moon shown brightly, you could see every star; from what seemed like every part of the world. But she knew better than that, it was sunny somewhere else. She kept staring up in awe, trying not to dig up old memories of….Alex, one of the only guys she ever dated. He was a charmer and so was she, so it wasn’t destined to work out. But sometimes she found herself missing him.
She knew there was a huge party tonight, and she was expected to be there, but honestly she didn’t wanna go…she just wasn’t in that mood tonight. Sloane looked out across the open field she was passing, one of the fields she had traveled to with Alex. Isn’t that just great she thought, she had been trying to keep him off her mind, after all she hadn’t talked to him in a good while. Sloane leaned against a tree and rested against it, she was beginning to tire, but she knew she would just keep walking. Her parents would start to worry, in about 5 some odd hours. Sometimes later than that, they knew she stayed out late, and allowed it nonetheless. She lifted her self off the tree and continued walking down the road, kicking rocks as they came about. The asphalt road she was once walking on had turned into an old dirt one, getting her flip-flops a dirty white color, she didn’t care though, she had many other pairs at home.
Sloane suddenly wished she would have ridden her bike, being this far from the house it would be a while before she got back, if she were to see anyone on this road, it would pure luck. She began to contemplate sitting down against this next tree, but decided against it, she didn’t want to get her dress to dirty. Just as she was about to turn around she swiveled her head to see a black truck with a red neon glowing underneath, she turned forward quickly again. Her heart began to race…she knew exactly who’s truck that was, it was Alex’s. Oh no, oh no oh no, was all that went through her head. She wanted to see him, she knew she did, but not now, not when she only had mascara on, her face was flawless yes, but she was still a bit self conscious.
Her thoughts were running wild, from what will I do? what if he stops? what will I say? Those questions were flying around in her head like birds. But when he stopped, so did her heart, because Sloane knew she better think of something quick. But she didn’t know why it was a big deal, she talked to guys all the time, but something about him, just made her tongue tied. She stared in silence as he opened the door and leaned against it, d**n he was fine, no denying that. He shocked her by only saying her name, but she replied…
“Alex…what brings you down this road?” she said, looking at him only for a second before looking down at the ground, when she looked at him, all she did was remember.
